Thursday, October 10th, is Dollar Day! Everyone is admitted for $1 with a donation of a non-perishable food items to the Montgomery Area Food Bank.

Admission is $10 without a donation.


Thursday, October 10th will be our Senior Citizens day at the Fair.  Admission is $1.00 with a donation of non-perishable food items to the Montgomery Food Bank (admission without donation will be $10.00). Special event for Seniors will be free Bingo at the coliseum stage.  Also visit the Creative Living Center, Grandpa’s Farm, and other activities include Hambone Express 3 Racing Pigs, Wolves of the World, K9’s in Flight, along with food vendors and carnival rides for $1.00 each (starting at 3:00 pm).  Be sure to join us for a fun-filled day!


ATTENTION…..All First Responders’ personnel…..come to the Alabama National Fair on Sunday, October 6, 2019.  All Police, Fire, Sheriff, and EMT personnel are admitted free with proper I.D.!! (Spouses and dependents are not included).  Standard fair admission is $10. Children ages 5 and under are admitted free with a paid adult.



Ladies Night – Tuesday, October 8th  – Everyone is admitted for $2 with a donation to the Tri-County Humane Shelters. Donations accepted will be canned cat food, canned dog food, blankets and towels. Ladies Night will take place beginning at 8 p.m. on the Coliseum Stage. There will be multiple giveaways, so make sure “LADIES” grab your ticket starting at 6 p.m. in the Coliseum.

School Tours

The Alabama National Fair and Agricultural Exposition offers school tours for Kindergarten through Fifth grade. School Tour Day will be Tuesday October 8, 2019, 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Tours are teacher-guided.  Information will be provided for you at the door/gate when you check in. The midway rides and games will NOT be open during school tours.  Some food vendors will be open for lunchtime.  Children may bring money for food and/or souvenirs if they choose.  School groups/classes may also choose to bring sack lunches.

Attractions:  Grandpa’s Farm; Creative Living Center; Alabama Department of Archives & History; Freedom Rides Museum; AHC; and many other educational exhibits); Cattle Shows; Racing Pigs; Art, Photography, & Flower Shows; 4-H, FFA, FCCLA Exhibits; K9’s in Flight, Wolves of the World.
